Puttin' on the Glitz - Sneak Peek #3

There are so many great companies out there for all our scrappy needs and desires! One of the companies that I have gotten to know and love in the last year is Glitz Designs!

Check out these three beautiful new lines - just in time for CHA Summer 2011!

First we have Dance in Sunshine:

And Beautiful Dreamer:

And finally, my personal favourite, Vintage Blue:

I love the combo of yellow and blue - fabulously French Provincial!  And that toile paper is to die for!  I am hoping my LSS Scrapbook Parade will carry this something from Glitz ( guess which one I am rooting for!!)  Are you listening Carol??? :)

Happy Day everyone!

It's CHA Sneak Peek Time Again!!

It is my favourite time of year ( well, after Christmas and Halloween!!) - CHA Summer Sneaks are back!

I have been a bad blogger lately, so this is just the motivation I need to keep my on the blogging straight and narrow!!

I want to start with at peek at the latest from Echo Park - this one is called Victoria Garden - and since I live in Victoria, BC - I had to start with this!  It is lovely blend of vintage colours and images reminiscent of Victorian gardens - how perfect!

The next line from Echo Park celebrates one of my favourite seasons (hint: - see above!):

Remember to keep checking back for more great sneaks from all your favourite manufacturers and some new ones, too!!

Happy Day, everyone!!

"Ad"ded Inspiration!

Have you ever used an advertisement as a jumping off point for a page?  I actually do not typically do this, so it was a great challenge for the Upsy Daisy Design team to use the ad below as the inspiration for our monthy design team submissions!

Here is the original ad:

And here is my layout - all about my first art journaling page!

It was great fun ( and a challenge) to use the advertisement and then come up with a layout!  I hope you will give this challenge a try the next time you find your mojo a little on the SLOW JO!!

Happy Day everyone!
